Tucson Sailing Club Pre and Post Regatta Spring Cruises
The spring cruise will start the week of May 12 with an anticipated return to San Carlos around May 22. We will cross the Sea of Cortez to Santa Rosalia and anchorages on Isla San Marcos. The itinerary is dependent on the winds and the sea state, so all must join the cruise with an open mind. No boats will be put in jeopardy to follow a schedule. We will watch the weather forecasts closely so that the cruisers can return in time for the Spring Regatta.
Also, a short cruise is planned after the Regatta. This cruise will go north up the coast from San Carlos for a few days. It’s a great cruise for those who are new to cruising or just have a few days available to enjoy the wonderful scenery on the Sonoran beaches.
