The meeting starts at 7 pm but we encourage you to come early for food and drinks. The bar opens at 6:00 pm. If you plan to eat dinner at the Elks, please arrive by 6:30 pm. Registration for dinner is required. Payment for food will made at the Elks.

PROGRAM: Joe Motil, Cruising Chairman for the Arizona Yacht Club, will be presenting information on a three day charter cruise he runs from Long Beach to Catalina Island. Joe is an avid and very knowledgeable cruiser who organizes both this three day California cruise as well as some more exotic ones requiring passports. His program will show a great and surprisingly inexpensive way for sailors in our club who would like to cruise but may be nervous about the trip to Mexico…or who would just like to explore Catalina Island. The passage is typically 5.5-6 hours depending on weather, of course. It might be a fun future group activity, as well!
