Join the Tucson Sailing Club in beautiful San Carlos, Mexico to cruise in the Sea of Cortez!
In order to encourage new boat owners and first time cruisers to participate we have scheduled an easy 12 - 24 mile trip North up the coast from San Carlos.
The cruise will be from 4 -5 days beginning on Monday Oct. 22. Our first 2 nights will be spent in San Pedro Bay, 12 miles North, up the coast from San Carlos. Activities will include beach golf and other games of skill, a fishing contest, pot luck on the beach with a fish fry, and fireworks.
On Wednesday the 24th, weather permitting, we will go another 12 miles North to the beautiful white sand beach of Las Cocinas anchorage and more activities.
Those who would like to return to San Carlos for the regatta can leave on Thursday or Friday for the 24 mile trip south.
If the weather is favorable some of us plan to explore the northern anchorages for a few days before returning to San Carlos.
