Monthly club meetings are be held at Brother John's BBQ at 1801 N Stone Ave (the old Wildcat House location).   Happy hour prices will extend to 7:00 PM for TSC members so come early for dinner and drinks.  HOT OFF THE PRESS!  $2 beers for the whole evening!

FEBRUARY PROGRAM

At the February 28 meeting of the Tucson Sailing Club at Brother Johns, Gary and Dorothy Wood will be talking about some of their cruising experiences. They have written a book: The Voyage of GIGOLO is the authors’ account of their sailing experiences that included two year-long sails from San Francisco into the Sea of Cortez and their 10-year voyage west around the world on their custom 50-foot steel sailboat. The voyage took them to 59 countries logging over 50,000 sea miles. The book is appropriately subtitled: “Ten Years of Adventures and Misadventures Around the World” as they experienced two near sinkings, two mid-ocean boom breaks, and a “pirate” encounter in the Red Sea.
