Tucson Sailing Club Pre-Regatta Spring Cruise
The Pre-Regatta Tucson Sailing Club Spring Cruise begins Sunday, May 15, 2023 in San Carlos, Sonora. We will be sailing north out of San Carlos to various anchorages along the coast which are 1NM to 28NM from San Carlos. The farthest north we will go will probably be Pozo Moreno. We expect to return to San Carlos on Wednesday, May 24, or Thursday, May 25, in time to get ready for The 42st Annual San Carlos International Cup (May) Regatta, Friday through Sunday, May 26-28, 2022.
This cruise is a great way to try out cruising (and all the fun involved) and shake down your boat for the regatta. Since the cruise will be fairly close to San Carlos and along the coast, sailors who may not have time to join the cruise for the full time can leave San Carlos later and join up with us in one of the anchorages. We will be monitoring VHF Channel 74 so you will be able to communicate with us to find out where we are.
